Celtic looked to have played a blinder if reports of Stuart Armstrong’s fee tonight are correct.
The midfielder who has only one year left on his Celtic deal is now heading down for take with Southampton with a view to signing with the St Mary’s outfit.

We reported earlier in the week Celtic were playing hardball with clubs interested in the midfielder and were willing to let his contract run down if they didn’t receive their valuation.
