REPORTS coming out of Denmark suggest Erik Sviatchenko has indeed played his last game for Celtic.

The Dane moved out on-loan to FC Midtjylland in January after a heart to heart with Brendan Rodgers.

The loan move has been an absolute success with Erik helping FC Midtjylland to only their second league triumph in their history.

The defender has been an integral part of the team in the second half of the season and it would appear the Danish Champions want to keep the player and look like they’re about to wrap up a deal.

The report from a Danish sports reporter claims Erik will sign a four-year deal with the club and Celtic will receive a transfer fee.
