Celtic are reportedly considering a move for 18-year old Rochdale winger Kwadwo Baah on yet another cross-border deal.

As reported by the Daily Record, the Hoops are supposedly looking to bolster the squad even further after completing the signing of Liam Shaw from Sheffield Wednesday with a similar type of deal for Baah who would cost a relatively low development fee in comparison if he was to complete a move elsewhere down south.

The young winger has also been linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester City, reportedly coming close to making the move there last month. However, there seems to have been a hold-up in that deal at this stage which could allow Celtic to swoop in and make an offer.

So far this season, the German-born youngster has played 26 games for the League One side scoring three goals.

He appears to be highly rated in England with West Ham also monitoring the 18-year old’s current situation.

This is the sort of market we are likely to see the club shop in going forward due to the rules that will come in after this summer because of Brexit. Ultimately though, if the club is smart about this, it could really work in our favour.
