REPORTS from the Glasgow Live website say that Moussa Dembele’s reps have met up with Chelsea officials about a potential summer move.

They also report the outcome of these talks was Dembele passing on any offer Chelsea could come up with to entice the hot prospect to leave Celtic.

This raises a couple of issues if the talks did actually happen.

Did Celtic give his reps permission? We would guess not. This would open a can of worms for Chelsea if they were caught trying to tap up another clubs player.

OR

Did Celtic give him permission to seek terms on the off chance Chelsea match their massive asking price in the summer?

This has came a little out of left-field but Glasgow Live also reports that the player was not interested in picking up a large wage if it meant he sat on the bench week after week.

One thing is consistent, the player wants to play football. Moussa wants to improve his game and Celtic’s fortunes. While the clamour for his signature this summer will be great, it’s important to remember the players outlook as well as the clubs insistence he’ll be here for a little longer than a season.
