JACK ROSS is trying to tempt Celtic into loaning out Lewis Morgan for another season as the former St Mirren boss looks to shape his new Sunderland side according to reports.
Ross spoke this week about how much Brendan Rodgers has personally helped him in his managerial career to date and is reportedly looking to cash in on their close relationship.
Celtic only signed Lewis in January but immediately sent him back on-loan to St Mirren where he helped win the league.
Morgan is now officially a Celtic player and spoke last month about being ready for the challenge of breaking through to the first team.
According to the same reports – Brendan Rodgers will only loan him out to Sunderland if the Irishman doesn’t see Lewis in his first team plans after Celtic have gone through their preseason.
There is a lot of competition for Celtic’s attacking midfielders and it would make sense for Lewis to go out on-loan if he wasn’t going to get into the starting XI straight away.
The player himself has confidence in his ability to make the breakthrough so Sunderland may have to look elsewhere.

Hey JT read the report again it is the SCOTTISH manager who let Celtic sign Lewis Morgan from St Mirren and is now the SCOTTISH manager at Sunderland and it was Brendan who let him stay at the Saints till the end of the season.
