According to reports, Union Berlin are braced for a bid of around £5 million from Celtic for striker Sebastian Andersson.
German website Kicker have suggested that a few teams have expressed an interest in the 29-year old striker, including the Scottish Champions, who are reportedly the most advanced of the sides who are looking to strike a deal.
This would be a very strange deal for the club to make, after it was revealed that the club are close to sealing a deal which would see West Ham striker Albian Ajeti signing on a year long loan, with an option to buy of £5 million.
A lot of fans are seeing right through these reports. Breaking Andersson’s release clause would see the club paying a considerable fee for a player who is 29 years of age. That certainly isn’t usually the sort of move; Peter Lawwell would be looking to make.
If these rumours were true, it would spell a bit of worry for some, as it could suggest we are seeing the exit of star man, Odsonne Edouard.
Maybe we could be looking into it too much, and it might just be a backup option the club have prepared, in the worst-case scenario that the Ajeti deal does not go through.
We are gonna have some strike force , the four we already have , this guy from Berlin, the Albanian from West Ham United, Steve Fletcher , and the big lad from Peterborough United, , A keeper two defenders and eight strikers , bring on the ten ?
Give me the Berlin one he is 29 been over the course he Sebastian Andersson give him a 3 year deal he is a pro who plays hard and fast he is the one we are after…
