Reports in Italy from TuttoMercato claim Italian giants AC Milan are running the rule over Celtic breakthrough star Kristoffer Ajer after an impressive season last term.
We think at this point Ajer is the only player who hasn’t been linked with a move away from the club this summer so we can add him to the list now.
The Norwegian has come from the fringes of the Celtic side to one of the first names on the team sheet. Ajer is expected to pair with Celtic’s £7m man Christopher Jullien this season and any plans to sell him would be very detrimental to Neil Lennon’s plans.
Today, we’ve already had Jozo Simunovic linked with a move away from the club. With the Celtic manage desperate to improve his options in defence it’s unlikely he would be happy to sell either.
Everyone has a price and with Kristoffer Ajer being a big player for the club, he would not come cheap to anyone.
