Ange Postecoglou is set to continue to cut down on his squad, with more player exits to come over the next month.

Today, we have seen the exits of Ewan Henderson heading to Edinburgh to join Hibs and reports suggesting that Liam Shaw is edging closer to joining fellow Scottish Premiership side Motherwell on a loan deal until the end of the season.

According to Sky Sports, there are more departures to come, with the likes of Vasilias Barkas and Boli Bolingoli looking to be offloaded before the end of the January transfer window.

“Sky Sports News understands the Scottish Premiership side will now focus on ‘outs’, before making moves on further incomings for the first-team squad.”

Currently, the Hoops have a large squad of up to 34 players. However, a chunk of that has not made the cut in terms of game time under Postecoglou, so it is a sensible move by the club to try and offload players that the Celtic boss will not be looking to use.

By getting rid of several players, it could also open the door to more additions. So, it certainly looks like it will be a busy window, with Celtic getting to work straight away on in-comings and out-goings.
