NEIL LENNON has branded Celtic’s SFA charge as ‘ridiculous’ when asked to comment on the latest development since the Hamilton game.

Since Wednesday there were a lot of pundits trying to get Leigh Griffiths hauled before the SFA for a percieved stamp which came to nothing. But true to form, the SFA cited both Celtic and Hamilton for not being in control of their players for a bit of pushing and shoving during the game. Read the full store – here.

Neil Lennon doesn’t believe either club have a case to answer and nobody but the SFA have brought this up in the aftermath of the game. If they start handing out clubs fines for stuff like that then the SFA coffers are going to swell.

The punishment, if found guilty of the charge, is anything between £2500 and £20,000.

It all just seems as the Celtic manager put it, ‘ridiculous’. Hopefully sense will prevail on the February 20th when the hearings will take place.
