BRENDAN RODGERS confirmed that the clubs are in talks to bring players in but he won’t comment on any individual deal until it is over the line.

Celtic have been linked with a plethora of players this summer and have so far only tied up Odsonne Edouard on a permanent deal – however, that deal did break Celtic’s transfer record.

Outwith that, Celtic have had to be patient in their pursuit of several players.

The Celtic manager confirmed the club are still taking to targets.

“There is a lot of speculation around players but I will only talk when they are signed and done. The club are trying to do that.” the Celtic gaffer told The Sun.

“It is not a case of: ‘Get replacements and then improvements’ — it’s what we need combined but it’s important we get replacements.”

Celtic have made a move for John McGinn this week with the player being one of Rodgers top targets to replace Stuart Armstrong.

There’s also talk a move for Swiss Defender, Fabian Schar.

Outwith this, Celtic are not commenting on any speculation linking Kieran Tierney with a Parkhead Exit – a lot of fans on social media seem to be getting increasingly worried.
