Brendan Rodgers has scuppered the hopes of a support by declaring Tom Rogic is not fit enough to play any part in Wednesday’s game against Alashkert.
BR: “Tom won’t feature tomorrow. He’s just back and is working his way back to fitness having been off for a few weeks. We can’t throw him straight into the game so he’s just building up his fitness and resistance. He’ll join the squad again in the coming weeks.” #CELALA

The bhoys lead 3-0 from the first leg and some thought the Aussie star would make a cameo appearance at some point during the game tomorrow.
However, the Celtic manager is taking no chances with his fitness and wants the midfielder to be completely ready for action when Celtic are back in action in the second round of qualifiers.
Tom had two weeks off at the end of his countries World Cup run and while the manager could put Rogic out there, it makes more sense to save him for future games.
Rodgers is likely to name an unchanged side from last week when Alashkert come to town.
