BRENDAN RODGERS has told Celtic fans not one of his international stars has come back with an injury ahead of Celtic’s tie with Hibernian tomorrow.
The Irishman has been putting his full squad through their paces as they get ready for a busy period in the run up to Christmas.
“The players have all come back fine and healthy with no injuries,” Rodgers told the media.
Ajer is still out while Bitton has had to go in for a ‘clean up’ operation.
There’s always the potential for some of your top stars to become injured or fatigued because of international duties but the bhoys seem to be in good spirits.
The likes of Kieran Tierney only had to play one game and the manager knows he can rely on his future captain to be ready for the Hibs challenge.
Celtic are set to play five games in fourteen days in a bid to shape their season positively.
Wins in all five is a big ask but it could be done if everyone is pulling together.
