BRENDAN RODGERS has reassured the Celtic fans that he is looking to strengthen the side after seeing two of his top players leave this summer.

Patrick Roberts loan finished and headed back to Manchester City while Stuart Armstrong pushed a move through to Southampton for £7million.

Some Celtic fans are getting restless with more outs than ins, but it’s only June and there’s still plenty of time.

“We know we need to strengthen.

“We lost Stuart Armstrong and Patrick Roberts who were really influential players for us in all the years I have been here. We need to at least replace that and if we can also add to the squad.”

So the manager wants to at least bring another two players in with a hope of adding one or two more if things fall into place.

The Irishman want quality, and as frustrating as it is, the better players take more time to procure.

  1. No matter what us fans want the quality we require won’t be available to us until end of July until mid August @ the earliest. 1cos of World Cup and 2 cos players want to know if we still in Europe, its frustrating but true and nothing we can do about it.
