BRENDAN RODGERS believes Celtic are getting back to their best just in time for the run in.

Having watched his side make easy work of Ross County, the Irishman declared this side looked more like his invincible team of last year.

“I thought we were back today to what we were last year,”

“There were lots of threats on goal, speed and penetration. Very importantly we had a hunger to get the ball back and that got us our second goal.”

Goals from Dembele, Armstrong and Rogic completed the 3-0 win against a ten men Ross County.

Celtic now have Dundee up next on Wednesday where the club can take a massive step towards the title.

Celtic could win the league as early as Sunday but that’s if Aberdeen and The Rangers falter on Saturday.

Seven in a row is inevitable but the Celtic boss will be glad to see his players performing at their best ahead of a massive Scottish Cup semi final.
