Speaking at the press conference yesterday, the Celtic manager was asked about young Karamoko Dembele and the buzz around the young player.
The Irishman recognised the bhoys talent but urged the media that he needs to be left alone to be able to develop properly.

“The coverage is not right for the boy”
“This is a thirteen-year-old kid who’s a talented player” said RODGERS.
“I’ve seen him and I’m aware of his talent, he came up early on and done a session with me and the first team. But at thirteen years of age, he just has to be left alone.
“He’s got a lot to learn, he’s a very exciting player of course
“You just have to be careful with young players, he doesn’t need any more exposure, I’ve met his family, he loves being here, he loves Celtic.
“If he continues to develop then we may see him around the first time in 3 or 4 years”
