BRENDAN RODGERS has laughed off Craig Levein’s latest comments about the Tynecastle grass after last season when the Irishman commented on the embarrassing nature of the pitch last term.
After Celtic comprehensively beating Hearts last season, the Celtic manager made comment about how poor the turf was and Levein, as well as some in the media, have been obsessed with commenting on Rodgers idea that top flight pitches should look the very best to help sell the game.
Levein commented yesterday that the grass was in need of a cut and when Rodgers heard this at his press conference on Friday he had a bit of a chuckle at the comment and said he’ll get the players to bring wellies.
Craig Levein: "It's a bit long just now."
Brendan Rodgers: "We might need to play in wellies!"How long should the grass on the pitch be at Tynecastle on Saturday?

Levein is only a feckin muppet
Thinks he’s a funny guy
He’s wrong
Not a good joke in the clown
Come on it really is difficult for Mr Levein to keep the grass short at Tynecastle given the amount of Sh@@e that he puts out to play on it each week…… :-)) wink
Maybe he’s smokin it the fkn loon
Och the Jambos,Bless Them.Need to try Anything to get an upper hand v theChampions
Well it’s come back to bite him , because it looked like two of his players where injured through the studs getting caught in the grass, ha ha.
