Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has sent a heartfelt apology to the Hoops supporters following the disappointing 3-2 defeat to Rangers at Celtic Park this afternoon.

In a post-match interview with Celtic TV, Rodgers immediately addressed the Celtic supporters, offering an apology for the defeat. “Well, firstly, the message to the supporters is we apologise because we always want to win games here against our big rivals. So, for them, it’s not a great feeling,” Rodgers acknowledged. The disappointment of losing to Rangers at home was clear, and the Iriishman knows how much this game means to the Celtic faithful.
