Brendan Rodgers believes the Celtic fans have a big part to play in tonight’s crunch Europa League tie.

The bhoys take on Leipzig in matchday four of the competition and nothing but a win will do for the Scottish Champions if they have any desire to progress in the competition.

The fans always create a special atmosphere on European nights – that goes without saying” Rodgers told the Celtic View.

“The Support and feeling they give us is remarkable.

“We can use their energy from the stands and it rolls on to the field.

“Hopefully that will give us an opportunity to get a good result.”

Along with the Celtic fans in full voice, the stadium will also see something very new before kick off with the new lights being utilised to build atmosphere ahead of the players taking to the field.

It’s up to the bhoys to take the energy and run with it on the night.

Leipzig will be happy with a draw so they might sit back and wait for Celtic to make a mistake.

Rodgers is very aware of this and has told his players to be extra cautious.
