BRENDAN RODGERS has told Celtic fans he expects movements in both directions before the end of the transfer window.

Having brought three players in already, the manager is conscious of having a bloated squad and realised the need to get rid of some players either permanently or on-loan.

However, while this is going on the manager believes there’s certainly more movement to bring players in, and that’s what he hopes to do before the window slams shut in two weeks.

It’s unfathomable to some Celtic fans that the club could finish this window without bringing in any defensive reinforcements and it must be a concern to Brendan at this point.

Speaking about the transfer window, Rodgers told the official Celtic page:

“There will be movement both ways, I would suggest, between now and the end of the window. We’ve got a big squad. There will be players that naturally will want to go and play. We can hopefully do more business.”

Likely players to head out in this window would be the likes of Allan, Mulumbu, Morgan, Compper and any other fringe stars struggling for game time.
