BRENDAN RODGERS has told Celtic fans the Leipzig staff were blown away by the atmosphere at Celtic Park.
Speaking at Celtic’s AGM the Celtic boss spoke about how vital the fans are to the club’s success and his side’s massive win against Leipzig was in large part due to the hostile atmosphere created on the night.
💬 Brendan Rodgers: “I spoke to RB Leipzig staff member – the constant noise at Parkhead was completely new to them. It can do nothing but inspire you. It’s absolutely vital to us.” pic.twitter.com/nv3ruZJOD0

Celtic beat the German side 2-1 with the bhoys leading for most of the match. As soon as they were pegged back, it only took 14 seconds for Edouard to give Celtic the lead again.
It breathed new life into Celtic’s Europa campaign and has given them a fighting chance of making it out of the group.
With one more home game left against Salzburg on matchday six, it could be the fans again who help make the difference.
It’s Rosenborg away for the second time this season first where Rodgers men will look to get a vital away win.
