BRENDAN RODGERS has revealed Celtic’s new permanent striker Issouf Bayo will NOT be available for the Scottish Cup tie against Airdrie on Saturday with the players work permit still not issued at this point.
Speaking to Celtic’s social media the manager explained.
?️ BR: "Bayo is still going through his paperwork process, and will hopefully join us later in the week. It's great to have them on board, all three young talents with very big potential and it'll be great to nurture that over the next six months."

Bayo is one of three signings made by Rodgers in this window with Timothy Weah and Oli burke also coming in on short-term loan deals.
Both players have been training well and could play a part in the Scottish Cup game if Rodgers wants to call upon them.
Speaking about the pair, Rodgers said having them in Dubai has made a real difference.
?️ BR on new signings: “Oliver and Timothy joined us in Dubai and it’s been great for them to bond with the players on and off the pitch. It’s proved invaluable."

Celtic take on Airdrie in the 5:15pm kick off with the bhoys starting their defence of the Scottish Cup which they have won the past two years.
It’s very likely we will see one if not two of the players getting some sort of run out in front of the fans this weekend.
