BRENDAN RODGERS has told Scott Brown he is a made man at Celtic and while the Irishman is at the club there will always be a place for him on or off the pitch.

Speaking about his fearless captain, Brendan Rodgers was full of praise for Scott who has helped him achieve so much success at Celtic thus far.

When the day comes for Broony to hang up his boots Rodgers wants him in the dugout.

“You wouldn’t want Scott lost to the game when he stops playing,” said Celtic manager Rodgers. You would always want him involved.”

“He’s certainly going to be someone that, if he finishes his career at Celtic, there will be a place somewhere in the backroom staff here for him.

“But it’s then a case of what he wants to do. He might want to do what Lenny did and go on from being captain to being manager. That might be something.”
