Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has discussed the Hoops’ approach ahead of tonight’s game at the Allianz, hammering home that even if Celtic get off to a bad start, it won’t change how they play.

Celtic go into the game 2-1 down; however, after a positive end to the game at Celtic Park six days ago, there is an outside hope that the Hoops can seemingly do the impossible.

With a 3-0 win over Dundee United at Celtic Park, it was the perfect preparation for tonight’s game, with Jota and Jeffrey Schlupp impressing, leading to them starting tonight.

In total, Rodgers makes four changes from Saturday, with Alistair Johnston, Arne Engels, Nicolas Kuhn, and Daizen Maeda all coming into the team tonight, in a sign that Celtic are looking to attack Bayern from the outset.

With the Irishman highlighting the task Celtic face ahead of tonight’s game at the Allianz.

He said: (Amazon Prime Video), “We have got to win the game tonight. Even if we go 1-0 behind nothing changes, we still have to win the game. So nothing changes with that.”

Celtic have to win tonight if they are to progress to the last 16, and Rodgers and the players are more than aware of this.

Throughout the season, they have mixed up approaches—being too aggressive against Borussia Dortmund in Dortmund and more defensively resolute against Atalanta earlier in the Champions League.

It will be interesting to see how aggressive Celtic are, as at times last week against Bayern, they looked too passive, and at other times, they were overly aggressive, leaving gaps against Dortmund.

For Rodgers, it’s a game at the Allianz that won’t define his Celtic legacy; however, if Celtic progress to the next round, it will add to his already historic run at the Hoops over two spells.
