BRENDAN RODGERS will sit down with one of his in-form stars in the coming days to thrash out his future with the club.

According to Ryan Christie’s Dad, Charlie Christie, who is a former Celtic player himself, the pair will get together in a bid to make sure his future belongs at Celtic Park.

Speaking about his son, the Inverness Caley Youth Coach spoke about Ryan’s transformation and how it’s not just Celtic who want his bhoy.

“There’s been a lot of publicity about Ryan bulking up. It’s made a big difference to his game, and he’s gained more pace.” Charlie told the Scottish Sun.

“Other clubs are interested — but Celtic are his first choice, no question.”

Ryan has made no qualms about it, he sees his future at Celtic even if others have been sniffing around.

It looked very uncertain just two weeks ago, but since his second-half emergence at Murrayfield in the League Cup semi-final, the attacking midfielder has been on fire.

He will possibly get another chance to shine in the Europa league this week when Celtic take on Leipzig at home on Matchday 4.

Christie played in the away loss in Germany but has since found confidence in his performance.
