BRENDAN RODGERS is pondering a loan move for young Kundai Benyu after the player has fallen away from the first team since the start of the season.

The Irishman openly admitted he brought Kundai to Celtic Park in the summer with the idea of loaning him out straight away. However, when the youngster got to Lennoxtown he impressed the coaching staff so much they decided to keep him at Celtic Park to let him develop.

The player started some games earlier this season but hasn’t really been seen since the 6-0 game against Kilmarnock where he looked overly eager to impress.

Celtic are now said to be looking at a number of options on the table and what’s best for the midfielders longterm success.

He is not the only one who could be on the way out on-loan in January. Kristoffer Ajer may head back out if the manager can secure a defender in the January window.
