BRENDAN RODGERS has come out swinging at the news Celtic will have to play their semi-final tie with Hearts at Murrayfield.

The Irishman found out about the decision as he was taking his pre-match press conference before tomorrow’s match day two in the Europa League.

Rodgers did not pull any punches as he described the decision as unfair and claimed that Murrayfield was NOT a neutral venue when you take into account how much Hearts used the stadium last season.

Celtic are faced with having to go to Murrayfield for an early afternoon kick off on the Sunday after travelling away in Europe.

The Celtic fans are also the only group of supporters put out by this decision.

The club wrote to the SPFL yesterday, warning them not to manually select who plays at Murrayfield and rather have a draw to see who played in which venue.

This has fallen on deaf ears and Celtic have been moved to Edinburgh whether they like it or not.

  1. Where is the neutrality in this decision, I hate to agreed with the sevconians but f**k the SFA, it stinks of anti Celtic bias.

  2. The time is long overdue if not by the Celtic Board then by the Celtic Supporters,
Total ban on all SFA Competitions, Do not take their tickets and starve them of cash.
Boycot the national team. Starve the SFA of revenue. Refuse to allow Celtic players to the National squad. Celtic pay their wages. Their loyalty to shoould be to Celtic only.
Refuse ticket allocations to all away games. Starve the SPFL clubs of revenue. They wouldn’t back our call for investigation and reform. So to hell with them.

  3. As I said earlier in a previous thread, If Hearts and Aberdeen make it through to the final. Then they can play the final at either stadium in Dundee. Now I’m thinking why can’t they play a semi there or Firhill, or anywhere in central Scotland?? The Sfa are not very wise in their choice of venues. are they just in it to make money and fans unhappy
