BRENDAN RODGERS has revealed there was an offer on the table from a Chinese side for his managerial services.
Speaking to BBC Scotland ahead of his tie against St Johnstone the manager was asked about the rumour and he confirmed there was an offer in the summer to try and prise him away from  Celtic Park.
"There was an offer but my concentration was with Celtic."

Brendan was just off the back of a double treble when the offer was made.
Given the amount of money that is currently being thrown about the Chinese Super League you would bet that it was a life changing amount of money offered for the Irishman’s services.
Celtic are going through a rough patch at the moment, the first time Rodgers really has been tested and rather than shy away from it the Celtic boss has come out fighting.
Brendan said yesterday that it’s an absolute privelage to manage Celtic and he’s looking forward to the challenge of getting back to form.
