Rogic Exit Unthinkable

Reports today that Tom Rogic and Celtic are no closer to a new deal has some fans worried we could be about to lose the Australian.

The midfielders magic has given Celtic fans some of the best moments in recent times with the treble winning goal the obvious standout.

Over and above that the player shows the type of skill and intelligence Celtic need to be holding onto as they look to improve in Europe.

Tom Rogic has the ability to be a big game player beyond the clubs domestic duties.

While you’re never going to get a 100% majority, it’s fair to say a sizeable amount of Celtic fans are desperate to see the club retain the players services.

Rogic will be mulling over the terms with his representatives and wondering if he’s worth more somewhere else. Some fans might not like the sounds of that and feel betrayed but in the modern game, the players must always look at their options.

In a short career, footballers look to get the most out of it and if that means moving from a club you’re settled at for more money then so be it.

It’s our belief that Rodgers is desperate to keep Tom at the club and the Aussie stars preference is to say so a deal is far from dead.

Should Tom go, it would not be ‘armageddon’, of course not but it would be a form of self harm not to do everything in our power to keep this bhoy.
