Ronny Deila recently took part in a podcast back in Norway and spoke in-depth about his time at Celtic Park. Thanks to the lads over at 90 Minute Cynic for translating the podcast we’re able to give you some insight into Ronny’s chat.

The former Celtic manager spoke about how he got the job, the process involved and how he went about his business early on.

Most of all he spoke about his affection for the club and how the Celtic fans have impacted on his life and continue to do so.

Celtic have changed everything. If I go back to Glasgow in 15 years’ time, people would still come up to me. If Henrik Larsson – the greatest of the greatest – went into Glasgow city centre, he’d be mobbed. And Celtic fans are everywhere, all over the world. To be a part of Celtic is like being part of a family. The saying is “a club like no other”, and it’s true, it’s something special.’
