Ross County have warned that Celtic fans will be refused entry into the stadium if they have purchased home end tickets.

This comes in the wake of the last game in Dingwall in late April when Celtic took another huge step towards the title with goals coming from Kyogo and Jota.

With there being a limited number of tickets available in the lead up to the match many Hoops fans clocked on to the idea that they could buy tickets in the home end.

There was a large contingent of the Celtic support along the touchline with very little trouble on display.

Some Celtic fans have allegedly repeated the action but Ross County have stated that any Celtic fans purchasing home end tickets will be refunded and refused entry to the stadium.

The club has taken to their official club website to release a statement around the matter stating:

“Ross County would like to put out a very clear message at this stage that any Celtic supporters attempting to purchase tickets for the home end will be refused. Those who try to gain entry to the home end will also be rejected.

“We are already cancelling numerous purchased tickets by suspected Celtic supporters for the home end and refunds have been processed.”

Many hoops fans see the irony in this approach as they know that large sections of the stands will be empty.

With allocations being cut all across the country, Celtic fans are desperate to watch their team on the road and many don’t understand why clubs act like this.

There is financial benefit to increasing the away allocation to bring in more revenue if there isn’t a guarantee of selling tickets yet clubs don’t want to do that.
