Chris Sutton has suggested Celtic could make a move for Hibernian striker Kieron Bowie after being impressed by his performances in the Premiership.
Bowie’s physical style and eye for goal have stood out since joining Hibs, and Sutton reminded viewers how he once caused serious problems for Cameron Carter-Vickers in a direct battle. “I remember him last season when he had a performance against Celtic and really roughed Cameron Carter-Vickers up, which is not an easy thing to do, but he did do.
“I love his aggression, eye for a goal and he looks to be an outstanding young player.
“David Gray must be absolutely delighted he’s got him at his disposal.”
Sutton’s comments highlight how Bowie has quickly made a name for himself at Easter Road. Troubling a defender of Carter-Vickers’ stature is no small feat, and it shows the kind of presence he can bring in big games.
