MICAH RICHARDS has explained his cryptic tweet from earlier this afternoon had nothing to do with Roy Keane after the former Man City got an avalanche of messages from the Celtic support.
Social media is full of rumours Roy Keane is firmly in the driving seat to be the next Celtic manager so everyone is turning into Columbo on Twitter trying to figure out what’s going on.
Micah has had some banter about Keane getting the Celtic job in the past week which has prompted some in our support to ask him if his ‘it’s happening’ tweet was aimed at the move.
Just seen the comments below this post ?. Afraid I wouldn’t have any idea on Roy, I always get ‘this call can’t be connected’ whenever I try to ring him ?. Strange. Was just excited to have the ??? @England back tonight. ??⚽️??????? https://t.co/nwf8T8omJw

As we suggested when the tweet first dropped, Roy Keane doesn’t do his business in public and he wouldn’t exactly be telling Micah Richard’s what he was up to. They are colleagues on a Super Sunday but I don’t think they chat otherwise.
The search continues for the next Celtic boss.
