ROY KEANE spoiled any exclusive Ally McCoist was trying to gather for his TalkSport morning show last week.
The rumours of Roy taking on the Celtic job have been rife and when McCoist crossed paths with the Irishman as England’s win over San Marino, he asked the former Manchester Utd midfielder his intentions.
McCoist said Keane didn’t even bother answering him and just gave him the famous Roy Keane scowl.
“He effectively ignored me really.” McCoist told talksport as cited by THE SCOTSMAN.
“Roy just kind of looked at me as if to say ‘yeah, and I’m really going to tell you the answer’.
“I got that, you know the stare, the world-famous stare – I was on the receiving end of it at Wembley on Thursday night!
“And I still don’t know whether he’s going to get the Celtic job or not. Effectively, that’s where we are on it.”
I don’t think Roy Keane is a popular candidate among supporters but there will be many fans happy he didn’t bother answering McCoist.
Keane isn’t easily impressed and it’s safe to say he wasn’t by Ally’s intrusive question.
