After the story in SunSport on Sunday claiming Roy Keane has told close friends he believes he’s missed out on the Celtic job, a report today claims he’s not completely out of the picture.
Don’t shoot the messenger! And yes, we know, football insider has not been the best for information when it comes to Celtic but their sources claim Keane is still on the table.

It’s always fascinated me FI having a ‘source’ at Celtic. Whoever it is clearly gets more wrong than right.
We can never discount the possibility of Keane being in contention for the job. Until a new manager is appointed, there’s always that possibility.
There’s little support out there for Keane to Celtic among fans but apparently there’s better boardroom backing for the Irishman.
We hope that’s not the case. The same report says Eddie Howe would prefer to stay in the PL.
