The Celtic rumour mill has sparked into life this week with so many names being thrown at us.
One man who has been linked with Celtic for the last week is Brandon Soppy of Rennes.
According to reports today on French social media, the player has already agreed terms with Celtic but it’s up to the two clubs to work out compensation.

Translated by Twitter: Brandon Soppy (Stade Rennais) at Celtic Glasgow? The player has already reached an agreement with the Scottish club and negotiations between the two clubs are progressing well despite a first offer much lower than Rennes expectations.
Transfer Guru Fabrizio Romano was the first man to bring up the potential deal.
Celtic are interested in signing Brandon Soppy from Rennes [19, huge talent] as new left back. Talks opened – but there are also French clubs in the race. ?? #Celtic #Rennes #transfers

Romano describes the player as a left-back but we’ve been told the player is indeed a right-back.
The young right-back is looking to move on from the club this summer but does have 9 appearances to his name.
Celtic are in desperate need of a right-back and with Champions league qualifiers right around the corner, they are having to go into the game with a patched up side.
Jeremie Frimpong left for Bayer Leverkusen in January and Elhamed moved back to Israel because he was homesick. Jonjoe Kenny was loaned in from Everton to see out the second half of last season but he made no impact at all.
The Hoops start their SPFL campaign at the end of this month. There has to be new faces in well before then but we’ve been saying that for quite some time. Could Soppy come in and solve our right-back issue?
Our week is starting well hope it finishes great should guessed scottish press still on about Griffiths so called tweet god help any man over 21 that makes cheeky tweet how many millions has the law office wasted trying to save one club and Bury other
That’s the press for you. Gave up on it. Too much bad or amateur journalism nowadays.
Still though, at least RFC are dead and buried. Scots Law determined that irrefutably in the halcion year of 2012. 51/ 1 – Mind The Unbridgeable Gap, Sevco.
