It’s being reported this evening Ryan Christie has emerged as a late target for Championship side Bournemouth.
The club are looking to gain promotion to the Premier League after missing out in the playoffs last season.
The Scotsman is reporting the club is interested in taking Christie down south with the promise of free flowing football under new boss Scott Parker.
Christie has less than six months on his Hoops deal that bizarrely finished in January.
Celtic and the midfielder have had dialogue in the past few days but it appears that it hasn’t advanced to any real degree.
If any club wants Christie in before January they must show their hand very quickly and provide some sort of fee for the Scottish international.
Ryan has had a good start to the season but yet again failed to really turn up in a derby game. A fixture where the player has never excelled. It’s Ryan’s dream to play in the Premier League – will he take the chance to go to the championship in the hope he can help the club back to the top flight?

Ryan done nothing last season and it looks like its gonnae be another 1 so him and eddy can get the same train our plane down to the epl because they will just embarrass themselves good luck lads ill watch out for yous.

Are we ever going to get that? I wouldn’t gamble a substantial wage rise on it.
Offer him what he’s worth to US,within OUR structure…forget what he can earn elsewhere,thats his business.
Some eejits have described French Eddy as a legend.?..Guy has potential but was a selfish git at Parkhead, both as a player and as a person. Stole 16 months wages off Celtic..undermined Lenny big time. Can’t be compared to Do Canio, Sutton, Harrison and of course the King..
Sorry guys..using a shite phone..Di Canio and Hartson obviously…As for Christie.. Celtic never really paid him so obviously he played to attract English money..always trying the spectacular..Like Eddy, he shrank when tackles flew cos he wanted to be injury free for big move ..
And finally…Paddy Roberts looked great for Celtic.. skillful, intelligent..class. Nothing has happened for him since..Now he’s running out his contract at Troyes…Big Fraser…at one time Messi called him best keeper in the world .now dearest bench warmer in the world…
