FORMER IBROX striker Kenny Miller has claimed Ryan Kent is better than Liel Abada and Daizen Maeda while also on a par with Celtic’s superstar from Portugal! Yes, he’s actually said this!

Ryan Kent has not performed well or consistently for the Ibrox side in a long time. The wee guy is still dining out on a goal against Celtic during a season where the bhoys won another treble.

Ibrox fans are so desperate for Ryan to be their saviour that they’re coming up with ludicrous points now. Kenny Miller leading the charge. Kenny wrote in his RecordSport Column :

“It’s a frustration because when it comes to talent and technique, he’s better than Abada, James Forrest or Daizen Maeda at Celtic. And he’s certainly on a par with Jota, in terms of ability.”

To put this into perspective; Jota has already scored double the amount of goals this season (4) after six games than Ryan Kent managed in the whole of the least SPFL season (2).

I could also go into Abada’s stats and performances and again embarrass Kenny Miller’s blinkered comments. Abada a huge reason why Celtic took their title back last term and why Celtic humiliated their rivals in the first derby of the season. Daizen Maeda is a completely different player from Jota and Abada but it’s easy to see right now he offers more to Celtic than Kent does to his side.

Simply put, Jota is the player they WANT Ryan Kent to be. Wishful thinking at its finest.

Jozo Simunovic has a lot to answer for, Kenny Miller hasn’t been the same since the Croatian sent him into orbit. This is a guy that isn’t sure if Kyogo is lucky or not when he gets into positions to score.
