RyanAir’s social media account has infuriated Gers fans by claiming they’d be charging for their tears as carry-one rather than charge for the Europa League trophy.

It came as a Celtic fan asked Ryanair how much it would cost the Germans to transport the trophy.

The hilarious response hasn’t gone down well with the hurting bears.

Celtic fans have been having a laugh on social media after seeing their rivals lose the final. They were so confident for weeks they were even trying to debate who’s win would go down as best; their Europa victory or Celtic’s European Cup in 1967.

Frankfurt were a decent side on the night but as European finals go – The Rangers certainly blew a massive chance to win the trophy.

It’s good news for Celtic. Their rivals will not gain automatic access to the Champions league and will have to go through qualifiers in the summer to get there.

Let’s hope RyanAir do us a turn for cheap flights to our Champions League destinations.
