Celtic are still looking for a right back and have been linked with two Rennes defenders to fill that slot in the side.
Brandon Soppy and Sacha Boey have been linked with the club over the past two weeks.
It appears as if Celtic will NOT be bringing in Boey for the position after Le Parisien reporter confirmed the deal didn’t progress and there are other suitors for the defender now.

Soppy remains in the mix, however, the club go into their Champions League qualifier on Tuesday with a right back Brendan Rodgers, Neil Lennon and John Kennedy didn’t fancy in Anthony Ralston.
It’s imperative we finally find a replacement for Mikael Lustig. Jeremie Frimpong took the place of the Swede in the squad but he was never the all round right back Celtic needed.
Jonjoe Kenny was not good enough and we’re down to playing guys in the side who would have likely been cut loose under better circumstances.
One thing we know is true,we need players ASP so bring them in and get the jigsaw done ASP…
