Over the last few weeks, the big question on fans lips have been what is happening with Fraser Forster?

There have been several different updates of a move to Celtic for the Englishman to be on and off, with it being reported that Forster is keen on a move permanently instead of a loan if he was to make a move.

Today, Saints manager Ralph Hassenhutl gave a possible update on the situation as reported by Glasgow Live, saying that players out with the current squad will have to wait till the end of the Premier League season that is still on-going.

“I don’t concentrate on the transfer market, to be honest. I know we have some targets but it is such a busy time, I have to focus on getting a performance from my team and the opponents we are facing.

It costs a lot of energy at the moment to find the right game plan. So there is a lot of preparing, especially with two of three days between games. My scouts are giving me some information in the players that are of interest to us, we are busy in the background”

For now, it sounds as though the Austrian manager has put all other matters to the back of his mind currently with his squad and management team being extremely busy due to the current schedule.

It is likely that they have still had talks with Forster and his representatives but a concrete decision may not have been made yet due to the season that is currently still going on.

Many will still be hoping that we see a return to Parkhead for ‘La Gran Murrala’, who was an ever-popular figure at the club. There could still be some way to go, in getting a deal done here.
