Today’s fixtures saw the SPFL’s second-placed team kick-off before the Champions faced off against Kilmarnock at Paradise for 3pm. The Rangers knew they couldn’t afford any more slip-ups in the league but once again they lost their bottle to only manage a 2-2 draw away against St Johnstone.

The Hoops home record is incredible this season, they have won 14 of their last 15 games at Paradise but they found themselves a goal down to a Killie penalty within the first few minutes.

Kris Ajer pulled one back for the Hoops just before the half-hour mark before French Eddy gave the Bhoys a 2-1 lead five minutes later.

The Celtic players will not be aware of the score at McDiarmid Park until they make their back into the dressing room.

That scoreline should be all Neil Lennon needs to get the Champions fired up for the second half to go out an open an even larger gap in the league table.
