Savage – These Celtic Fans React to Parkhead Exit Rumours For Rodgers Signing

It’s the first of January so I suppose the season of good will to all man is over and don’t some Celtic fans know it!

We reported earlier today about the possibility of Celtic’s head of recruitment Lee Congerton being headhunted by Belgium side Anderlecht and well this is one Rodgers signing fans seem ok with being linked with a Parkhead exit.

Lee was brought into the club to help Rodgers and the rest of the Celtic scouts find a new wave of talent but if the last two transfer windows have been any kind of indicator, it has been a disaster thus far.

Coming into Parkhead off his stint at Sunderland where fans had blamed the Englishman for many of their woes, it wasn’t the best of omens and to this point Celtic fans have been largely down on Rodgers’ choice of scout.

This is reflective in the way some have reacted to the news he could be off.
