One of the biggest emerging stories of Celtic’s injury crisis is the renaissance of Nir Bitton in a Celtic jersey.
If you’re a younger Celtic fan you’ll be forgiven for thinking Nir Bitton is a below average centre-back.
We signed the Israeli almost ten years ago as a defensive mid and this season he’s been allowed to play in the area of the pitch where he can play his best football.
The midfielder has got a chance through injury, but he’s certainly taken it and managed to put the game beyond doubt against St Johnstone with a quality finish.
The bhoys in green managed to get three points at McDermid Park despite playing a very makeshift side due to call offs.
No McGregor, Turnbull, Hart just to name a few and Kyogo went off injured within the first 15 minutes of the game.
Bitton helped martial the midfield with Tom Rogic who also had a sensational game.
They both looked like leaders on the pitch.
Fans have been raving about Nir and his form under Ange Postecoglou.
Nir Bitton has been brilliant. Absolutely brilliant ???
