SCOTT ALLAN has signed a pre-contract agreement with Hibernian on Thursday afternoon which will see the midfielder make a permanent switch to Easter Road in the summer.

However, there is no desire for anyone at Celtic to keep Allan at the club in January, and a deal could now emerge which would see the player head out to his new club sooner than the summer.

Scott has penned a three-year deal with the Edinburgh club and will be working under former Celtic boss Neil Lennon.

It’s safe to say the players time at Celtic has not been the best. Loaned out on multiple occasions and used very sparingly during his years at the club.

He went out on loan to Hibernian this time last year and had an excellent second half of the season with the Edinburgh side.

This will be Allan’s third stint at Easter Road, and we wish him all the best when he does eventually go.

It’s up to Hibs and Celtic now to work out a deal for the player to move before the window closes.
