SCOTT BROWN has managed to surpass Barry Ferguson’s European record of most games played in Europe by a Scottish player.
The Celtic captain helped see off Linfield last night and in doing so made his 83rd European appearance, winning him the accolade.
Former captain of the now defunct Rangers had set the pace at 82 before hanging up his boots. Now the Celtic captain looks to surpass this number by a healthy amount if Celtic manage to qualify for the Champions League group stages.
Just behind Ferguson on 81 is Celtic’s Keny Dalglish who made his Euro appearances with The Hoops and Liverpool. Scott did make his European bow with Hibs before moving to Celtic also.
Other notable Scottish Celts on the list are Paul Lambert (70), Billy McNeill (69) and Bobby Lennox (61).
The lad is a legend and still going strong I am sure Scott Brown the legend will see 100 or more God bless u .

To be honest its a pretty impressive amount no matter who you played for considering its Scottish teams/players. Broony long may it continue HH?
Your now a legend in Scottish football and you’ll always be a legend with the Celtic family… hail hail
Massey who?, and I thought it was a famous “tractor”. Not much puff, puff or deep tracks following this flop I’m afraid! Go Broonie!, then again… David Brown was a Real Tractor, eh? 🙂
