CELTIC CAPTAIN Scott Brown has discovered some of his best form under Brendan Rodgers. Many people who seen the player last season were saying his time was up and his legs had finally run out. It turns out nothing could’ve been further from the truth and we now are getting a tiny insight into maybe why he and some of the players were underperforming for the previous regime.

Speaking to the media Scott Brown spoke about the difference in training compared to last year.

“I think it all starts going into training. The training has been great, as have the physios and coaches,” said Brown.

“It wasn’t always like that last year. It didn’t always put a smile on your face when going into training. It was difficult, it was slow, the training itself wasn’t hard enough.”

“This season, all the lads are enjoying it, they want to work hard. It doesn’t matter if it’s Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday; training has been exceptional.”

The difference is night and day when it comes to this season and last so far. The team is playing with purpose and there seems to be a real sense of togetherness.

Brendan was clever enough to see the flaws early on and fix it to start getting the best out of these players.
