SCOTT BROWN has missed five Celtic games since going down with a knee injury. The Celtic captain has missed seven games all in this season due to injury.

After coming back from a knock, Broony then suffered a setback at Hibs which has seen Celtic have to adapt in his absence.

With Celtic now facing 11 games before the end of the year starting on Saturday just what is the state of play with the double treble winning star?

The Celtic View has this week confirmed the midfielder has recovered from the knee injury and will be back in full training this week.

This means the game at Hamilton may come too soon for the Captain BUT Broony is personally targetting the Rosenborg away day for getting back into the squad.

Callum McGregor owning Broony’s natural position in the last month means there is no rush to get Scott back before he’s ready and the manager will be wary of throwing him in before it makes sense to.

Griffiths is also heading back to fitness and could be giving Celtic some good news in the coming weeks.
