SCOTT BROWN has had a dig at The Rangers for their celebrations after they beat Celtic for the first time in thirteen attempts back in December.

The Celtic captain was asked about Scott Arfield taunting him after the game, but Scott hadn’t even realised it had happened as Arfield had done it with Scott’s back turned in true sh*** bag fashion.

Brown was happy to take it on the chin when he saw the photo in the aftermath of the game.

“I didn’t even know it [Arfield] happened at the time, to be fair. It’s part and parcel of it.

“You win games and people celebrate. It is an emotional day and people will always want to win.”

The Celtic midfielder was very pragmatic but laid a dig right at The Rangers door when he declared ‘they celebrated’ whereas Celtic just continued. After that game, The Rangers were on the same points as Celtic but the bhoys had a game in hand. Since then Celtic have amassed a ten point gap while the celebrating Ibrox club have overpaid for a striker and stuttered to March.

“More times than not we have won and played great football but that was one in 13 games that we were beaten. There have been some good stats for us and hopefully there are few more still to come from these games.” Brown told Record Sport.

“Nothing annoys me any more. I’ve seen it all. They celebrated and we just had to continue. We went away to Dubai, had a mini pre-season and since then we’re undefeated.

“It’s still in the back of everyone’s head and the lads are still talking about how we didn’t play on the day.”

Celtic have not been beaten in the SPFL since the December game and have kicked on. The bhoys have shown their mettle, but they also want to show the Ibrox game was also a fluke this Sunday.
