SCOTT BROWN has been linked to the managerial job at Easter Road, despite Lee Johnston still being in the dugout.

Alan Nixon has said that Hibernian are weighing up a potential replacement for Johnson, with his future still hanging in the balance despite their last two wins, and it appears that Fleetwood Town manager Scott Brown is among the names being considered.

Brown, who enjoyed a successful playing career with Hibernian in the past, took up his first managerial post at Fleetwood in May.

The 37yearold has had a mixed start to managerial life, having won 10, drawn 15 and lost 12 of his 37 games in charge in all competitions, with the Cod Army currently sitting just two points above the League One relegation zone.

However, with Hibernians recent improvement in form, it remains to be seen whether the side will decide to make a change in the near future.
