SCOTT BROWN has explained the reason behind the twitter storm on Tuesday night when a comment slating Neil Lennon and his team selection for the Cluj game was liked by the Celtic captain.
The tweet by a Celtic fan was scathing in their summation of Neil Lennon and it showed up on Brown’s feed.
The Celtic captain removed it once noticing his mistake and has posted a tweet to make sure people know he wasn’t passive aggressively attacking the manager.
Was just flicking through Twitter must of touched the button by accident.. Not my style to slag anyone off on Twitter. I am fully behind the manager and all the players are as well. If anyone should be getting a slagging or a abuse it’s all on me tonight as didn’t perform. Sorry

Celtic had an horrendous night at Celtic Park with Brown openly admitting he was a culprit as the club were sent crashing out of the Champions League.
The midfielder’s hand ball in the second half giving Cluj a way back into the game.
Celtic will now drop into the play-off round of the Europa League and will be hoping to get into the group stage.
His handball was shocking, absolutely crazy from a player of his experience
If we are going go forward we attack like we did in all games but never defend like that ever again we are a team and we play for each other back each other up this is it grow the fuck up and be men and show them all what you can do as one and together…..
Come on Celtic do it
